I organise a regular weekly Crazyhouse Team Battle every Wednesday evening. This morning I had a complaint from a member of one of those teams that I had "excommunicated" their country's National Team without warning and none of them were able to join last night. The strange thing is, when I checked, that team is listed in the team list for the battle and is recorded as having no players, scoring no points, and finishing 31st/58 teams. I note that no team leader had joined beforehand, so it was likely not showing on their team page, but I wouldn't have thought that that would prevent people from joining at the start or indeed during the tournament.
I went to settings to check that the team was listed in the team list that is editable before the tournament and the team seems to be there.
Can anyone shed any light on this before we have a major international diplomatic incident?
